Fast & Furious (2009)

The fourth part of the tril… sextu.. the gritty reboot of the Fast & Furious Franchise.  Yes.  That is what it is.  This one reunites the main cast of The Fast and the Furious but only for a short time as Michelle Rodriguez is tragically killed.  Shockingly, not in a drunk driving accident.  This makes her heterosexual lover, Vin Diesel, kinda angry and he seeks to Avenge Her.  Also, Paul Walker is back.  BOOooo.  This one has a bit of heart to it, and we also get to see the Japanese Guy from Tokyo Drift back because apparently in the Fast & Furious Franchise Universe, this movie takes place before the third one.  Yes.  That is A Fact.

For some ridiculous reason, this average, clichéd action movie made a shit-tonne of money.  Like Cars money … before the merchandise was all counted.  Now don’t get me wrong, I didn’t dislike it or anything.  For some fucking reason, the Fast & Furious Franchise movies weren’t as terrible as I thought they were going to be.  Do you have any idea how much this annoys me?  A lot!  Seriously.  It is not The Worst.  However, I am still annoyed that it was not called Fast & Fourious.

3 / 5
